Growing in Unity~Day 5

It’s here, Day 5.  Hard to believe my week has come to an end.
Thank you for following me this week as your GIU gal.
For my final project I want to share this delightful card using the bees from the Bee-Hold kit.  These bees are so irresistible.  I absolutely love them.

I created this card using a white card base.  I then embossed a white mat.  Then I punched holes in the embossed mat.  I stamped the bee images on white card stock  and colored them with Ohuhu alcohol Markers.  I then glued the bee images to patterned paper.  Then I glued them under the embossed mat.
Then I stamped the sentiment and added it to the card.

I have enjoyed being this week’s GIU gal.  Thanks so much for joining me all week.  Make sure you have left a comment on each of my GIU posts for a chance to win a $20 credit to use on the Unity Stamp website.

Growing in Unity~Day 4

Welcome to my blog!
I can’t believe it is already day 4 of being this week’s GIU gal.
For this card I used the bear image from the Wilder Still kit from July’s Kit of the Month.  When I saw this image I knew I had to have it.  Bears are my absolute favorite!

This card was made using a white card base.  I distressed some patterned paper and added them to the card base.  Then I colored the bear image, did a little fussy cutting, and glued it to the card.  Then I added a sentiment.
I really like how this card turned out and I hope you do too.
Thanks for stopping by today.

Growing in Unity~Day 3

Hello again!
Welcome to my Day 3 of being this week’s Growing in Unity gal.
Today’s project was created using the rain boots image from the Joy and Brighter Days stamp kit.
The image is colored using Ohuhu Alcohol markers. I decided to create a simple card for today.  I used a cream colored card base, distressed it with Tim Holtz Distress Ink.  Then I added some simple patterned paper shapes.  I then glued on the stamped image and added a sentiment.

Thank you so much for visiting today!

Growing in Unity~Day 2

 Good Morning!
Thanks for returning for my second project as this week’s GIU gal.
Today’s project is one of my favorites.
I purchased some Ohuhu Alcohol markers about a year ago and felt really intimidated to use them.  So I let them sit on my shelf and just admired them.  For my projects this week I decided to pull them out and use them.  I figured worst case scenario I would mess my stamped image up and just have to stamp a new image.  No biggie, right?

I decided on the mouse holding the leaf in the Leaf it to Love kit from the July Kit of the Month Club.
I blended several colors to color the leaf and loved how it turned out.  I used a cream colored card base, embossed a mat using a wood grain embossing folder. Then I added pattern paper as the background for the stamped image.  Added the stamped image and then added the sentiment.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.

Growing In Unity~Day 1

Good morning.  Thank you so much for joining me for my first day as this week’s GIU Gal. My first project for this week is an adorable card using this amazing imaging from the
Enduring Connection Collection.

For this card I used a white card base.  I then cut some pattered paper and distressed the edges.  Distressing is one of my favorite ways to make cards.
I stamped the image on a circle cut out and colored it using Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Pencils.  Then I stamped a sentiment on some pink paper and added it.
Hope you like it!

Closing Sale!!!

It is with great sadness I am announcing I am officially closing Little Scraps of Heaven Designs. You will be able to make purchases until December 31, 2025.
I am having a closing sale, 50% off purchases of $25.00 or more.
Be sure to download all file before December 31st. After December 31st they will no longer be available.
I have had such an amazing time creating cute one of a kind files for scrapbooking and card making.
I am hoping to someday start a new creative adventure. But right now with working full time and then watching my grandkids after school I just don't have the time to create new files. And not creating new files has caused a decrease in sales. And for the present time I am not making enough to keep Little Scraps of Heaven Designs opened.
Thanks for all the years we have created together!!
